Conserve Game - Hunt With A Labrador Retriever

The fondation of Pobiddy Kennel was started many years ago.  Gerald Beeland developed a deep love for dogs and the outdoors with his father as a child growing up living on a dirt road with permission to hunt any direction for several miles.  One day after skipping school for a day of hunting, Gerald's mom with great concern and hands on her hips asked "Gerald what are you goning to do, hunt for a living?", that was the moment Gerald first began to realize his calling in life.  By age 20, Gerald had dogs with titles and was founder and president of a field trial club and also a licensed show judge.  For years afterwards, Gerald offered a full-time guiding service until about age 40 when he realized he could not continue.  No regrets though for it was and is indeed a charmed life!  Gerald's love for hunting dogs and the outdoors has been passed on to his wife and two sons, who were fortunate enough to chase waterfowl, hunt upland game, and train dogs along side a true outdoorsman on hunting trips from North Dakota to Arkansas.  Gerald passed away March of 2007.  A large part of Gerald's legacy will be the labs he produced and the people that will carry on those blood lines.  Those people being his wife, Suanne, and his two sons, Rick and Boone.  In his passing, the kennel and its legacy will continue.
